Summary of Fran Bow series

A popular point-and-click horror adventure series on both PC and mobile, Fran Bow interprets the anomalous mind of a 10-year-old girl named Fran. Fran has just experienced a major event when she witnessed the death of her father and mother, a very tragic death. The girl is heavily obsessed, has impulsive actions. The culmination is the decision to run away into the forest with the cat Mr. His Midnight. Here the girl tripped and lost consciousness, losing her beloved cat. Fortunately, someone from Oswald Harrison mental hospital found her and brought her to the hospital.

With her intuition, Fran realizes that there is something strange here, she tries to escape from the hospital, also to find the cat Mr. His Midnight. The journey through the deep forest, finding the kitten and finding the way home to her aunt Grace is not an easy one. This is also when the surreal world that exists in parallel in Fran opens up with the presence of anomalous creatures appearing more vivid than ever.

Surreal world opens

Compared to other parts of the game’s 5 chapters, I personally appreciate this part 3 the most in terms of the puzzle system. Among the parts, the puzzle of part 3 has the most dense appearance, also has a more outstanding difficulty. Ways of quizzes and ways of solving puzzles are also richer. With the help of the drug Doutine, Fran will have many opportunities to touch the surreal world, see things differently, and come up with interesting puzzle solutions.

Along with an interesting set of puzzles, season 3 also delves into the parallel surreal world that is taking place. This series of vivid, colorful creatures in part 3 also makes you temporarily forget the horror atmosphere that was established at the beginning of the game.
