Microsoft OneDrive is an online storage where you can access, upload files, and share all your data with all other users. The app is made specifically for the mobile platform with many functions to support convenient operation.
Introduce about Microsoft OneDrive
Online storage on mobile phones!
There are many things you want to do with your data files: copy, rename, open files, upload, download, share, and save files… All of these operations require multifunctional file storage. If you are looking for a mobile online information store that integrates many modern features, is easy to operate, and has a friendly interface, you should consider using Microsoft OneDrive.
Working offline
When using Microsoft OneDrive, you can optionally save files offline so you can view or edit them when you’re not connected to the Internet.
Backup photos and videos
With Microsoft OneDrive, you can back up photos and videos according to Automatic or Manual settings for each specific file/folder. In Automatic mode, Microsoft OneDrive will automatically back up photos and videos when you Upload from your device to this storage.
There’s also Bedtime Backup which is a dedicated backup state for seamless photo backup while you’re in hiding. When everything is available on Microsoft OneDrive, you can view photos and videos directly in the datastore or download them to save on your device.
File sharing and management
Microsoft OneDrive also makes sharing and managing files easier. Specifically, you can share any file format, photo, video, or a whole album with friends and relatives. Every time a saved document is edited, you will receive a specific notification.
If you want to manage private security files, you can set a password to access private files or folders or even hide files if needed.
Files saved on Microsoft OneDrive can be freely named, move between folders, create new folders, rename files, and arrange files in the same folder according to each person’s own criteria. From there, the process of finding files later is also more convenient.
Scan feature to create PDF files
PDF files do not change the format or affect the interface when opened on different devices. Therefore, many information files need to be converted to PDF format to facilitate viewing, editing and exchanging of files. Microsoft OneDrive has the feature of Scan files to PDF format to quickly share with those in need.
How Microsoft OneDrive protects information files for users
Microsoft OneDrive has built-in Personal Vault technology that allows you to protect your important files with Identity Verification Request.
Even if you’ve accidentally deleted files from OneDrive, you can restore documents with version history across all files. Microsoft OneDrive also does ransomware detection and recovery. All the information and data you save on Microsoft OneDrive is always preserved, as secure and private as possible.
The app does one more thing to help with user security: Keeps your shared files, folders, and photos safer by giving others access for some time, and then that access is no longer available.
Open, view, and edit files on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook
When saving files to Microsoft OneDrive, if the file is in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, or Outlook formats, you can open, view, copy and edit details in each file directly on the app.
Even when it is not convenient to be online, you can still edit offline. The app will automatically update these changes when the Internet is back.
Is Microsoft OneDrive free to use?
Any user can start with Microsoft OneDrive with 5 GB of free cloud storage, or upgrade to a Microsoft 365 subscription to get up to 1 TB or 100 GB of storage.
