Since ancient times, in the world of ZakuzakuCraft, there once existed a powerful and extremely developed kingdom. In the heart of the kingdom is the “Golden Palace” – a place rumored to contain many secrets and treasures. However, for some reason, this kingdom declined and the Golden Palace almost disappeared from the flow of history and gradually became a legend.

Your journey

Over thousands of years, the Golden Palace has almost become a legend. There’s nothing more difficult than finding something in a legend. So you need to lead your team into the Dungeons, the remaining relics of the ancient kingdom to look for clues about the Golden Palace.

This will not be easy, in the Dungeon there is no shortage of traps and monsters waiting for you. Collecting materials and crafting equipment for your adventure is something you should prioritize. With full equipment, you will have enough confidence to enter more dangerous places but also full of valuable rewards.

City of Craftsmen

At the beginning of the game, you will enter a new city, this place is “quite” large with only a background image of an empty market. I find this a big minus point, it looks really boring. There are locations such as Guild, INN, Studio, Record and Field, which also meet the standards of a city in a world full of adventure.

• Guild – A gathering place for Craftsmens, you can recruit more members for your team here. If you have any questions, please ask the NPC.
• INN – It can be said that this is an inn for Craftsmen to rest. After resting here, you will receive the buff effect  Vigor increasing the rate of receiving materials from monsters.
• Studio – Crafting workshop, the place most loved by Craftsmens. Here you can trade items, create equipment and upgrade them.
• Record – It’s like a city library and is a place to store and record everything you’ve done since playing the game.
• Field – The  way out of the city and into the dungeon.

Skill cards

As mentioned above, ZakuzakuCraft is a Deck-Building RPG game so collecting cards is inevitable. In other Deck-Building games, the cards are usually characters or weapons, you will issue cards in turns to attack your opponents. In ZakuzakuCraft, the card types are Skills.

According to my understanding, there are two types of skill cards in the game: permanent cards and consumable cards. Permanent skill cards are usually skills according to the character’s Class and can be used many times (defense cards, attack cards, strength cards). Consumable skill cards can be collected in Dungeons or crafted at STUDIO (direct damage cards, healing cards, negative effect cards for monsters).

Equipping different weapons will give you additional skill cards specific to that weapon. The stronger the weapon, the greater the damage the skill will cause (it can be said that this is the reason crafting is the “king of all occupations).

Fight in Dungeons

That’s all about the cards, now we’ll move on to the main part – adventure in the Dungeon. Going out of the city you will see many Dungeons waiting for you and your teammates. But choose the right dungeon to avoid failure. Even if you fail, don’t worry, you will be returned to the city and everything you collected will not be lost.

In a dark dungeon, you can only move forward. Based on the map, choose the appropriate path, prioritize getting treasure chests first (treasure chests can give you skill cards or materials), then destroy monsters and collect rewards from them. One thing to note is that the character’s HP will not automatically recover when you are in the dungeon. Just a little carelessness and HP will drop to 0. You can restore HP with recovery cards or use the REST feature – consume food to restore HP. Don’t let your HP get too low, because you don’t know what kind of monster you will face next.

Entering battle, you may face one or two monsters. At this time, the skill cards will show their effectiveness. To use a skill card, you need to consume the corresponding amount of energy of that card. Permanent skill cards usually only consume 1-2 energy, while consumable cards cost no energy.

Start each turn with three energy and three random skill cards. Calculate and use them appropriately to destroy the monsters. At the end of the dungeon you will meet the Boss, it will be at a different power level, try to destroy it to “Clear” the dungeon and receive a valuable reward.
