• Yellow candles are related to events. They are limited and often appear in fixed positions
• Red candles are only available in the Eye of Eden
• Purple candles are only available when you give 3 normal candles to Spirit or another player

You need to take care of your candles. And in the last scene, no matter which candles you are holding, the boss Krillchan D’ Dragon will blow them out. If the candle goes out, you die, and all the stars die.
