Background

Card Guardians revolves around the story of the world of Valentia. Valentia is a land that symbolizes peace and prosperity. But now that is just the past. A dark force called “Chaos” has infiltrated this country, causing violent storms of destruction.

You are a talented warrior leader. You will have the task of using your talent to create strategies with unique cards to create a deck of battle-hardened heroes, destroy all monsters, and wipe out all aggression from the land, in order to take back the peaceful before.

Roguelike card gameplay

Card Guardians creates thrilling card battles, where each player creates their own deck of cards and combines them in their own way, to unleash warriors and powerful attacks on monstrous enemies.

The player’s mission is to use legendary heroes of Middle-earth to defeat ferocious monsters in the most strategic way based on how to choose and combine cards together.

The game has a roguelike nature, when you lose and run out of troops, you will have to go back to the beginning of randomly designed levels. Therefore, it has high replay value, each time you enjoy it is an exciting new experience.

Persistent fighting journey

Taking on the task of destroying monsters and repelling Chaos from the kingdom means you have to go on a big journey across the country.

Each land like Fallen Village, Eden Hills, or High Castle has its own combat environment. Each place is guarded by a huge boss, and under its command are full of monster minions. They will be radically different under the toxic rule and distribution of Chaos.

This means you will have to use different approaches and attack strategies to complete the mission in each place. If you defeat monsters in large enough numbers, you can unlock new skills and later new hero cards.

Countless ways to combine hundreds of cards

Each card is a unique skill or attack strategy, includes Critical Hit, Block Magic or Stun Enemies, Double Attack, Tribble Attack or Defendx3… With these different attack effects, when released in combination with a characteristic character card deliberately chosen by you, defeating and Knocking down the enemy in an instant is also possible.

There are up to 200 such cards in Card Guardians corresponding to dozens of characters and dozens of skills. Scaling them up, you won’t be able to count how many interesting combinations are created. Each level in Card Guardians ends with the task of defeating a boss guarding the door.
