The story

SOULVARS is the story of a completely different world where we live. Here, everything is embodied in Data, including the most difficult to articulate fictitious concept, the Soul.

Up until now, everything was peaceful. But now people’s lives are in serious danger. A series of unusual foreign objects suddenly appeared.

Only by completely eliminating these Data Objects can humans hope to regain their inherent peace.

A new technology has been discovered and put into the service of this survival battle: SOUL DRIVER – a state-of-the-art device capable of converting souls into data. Only the bravest, most upright and reckless warriors can wield control of this special technology, they are the SOUL BEARERs.

Each card represents 1 bit of soul. These are soul power data molded from the Soul Driver machine. In SOULVARS, the Soul Driver device acts as a lucky gacha, where souls crystallize, compress them into bits of data, and where you can “retrieve” these data randomly to collect more recruits for your deck.

Each soul, depending on its owner’s special ability, can perform different skills. Take advantage of these abilities, combined with special cards for Primary Weapons, Secondary Weapons, Armor and Accessories, you will upgrade the full power of your character. The more a soul is brought into battle, the more proficient that soul’s fighting ability becomes.

Depth of strategy

Initially, when going to war, you can only choose 1 soul bit on the first turn. However, then the number of soul bits increases according to the strength of the Soul Driver. This means that more souls can be selected at the same time. Finally, choose how many soul bits to include in your deck during your battle, depending on your opponent’s weaknesses, the current strength of souls, defenses, and current power-ups that you have in hand…

When you combine multiple souls at once, you can activate a special skill called ARTs. This is a skill that shows the player’s experience and strategy. This is also a measure of each person’s tactical potential.
