The story

But then you quickly find yourself caught in a terrible spiral of horror, and you risk becoming one of the victims. With the inherent intelligence of an experienced reporter, you tried to survive by all means, using your ingenuity to solve puzzles. You find the hidden area, use the only phone in your hand to spot the monster. At the end of part 1, you temporarily escaped from the crazy city, struggling in the dark before the faint light of the phone gradually turned off.

It is still unclear, will you be able to get out or not? Or you will become another unfortunate victim.

Following on from part 2, Reporter 2 is set in a hospital where you are waking up from a delirium. You find yourself still alive, miraculously, after a terrifying chase beyond the highest of human imagination with bloody, frenzied monsters. You thought it was over.

But not.

You are exactly the “chosen one” by the dark haunted forces of that town. A random call rang in your phone. There is a voice of a strange girl saying that within 7 days, you must find a way out of this hospital, because this place is also being controlled by monsters.

If this is true, what will happen in the next 7 days? And then what if you get out of here?

After that call, you started having strange dreams. It seems that some terrible monster has interfered with your dreams, turning all normal dreams into nightmares. You always wake up in shock, cold sweat pouring down your body every morning. Nightmares are getting so real that you can no longer distinguish between the real world and the nightmare. With each passing day, you get closer and closer to the deadly fear that comes from the dead aura of those crazy dreams.

Within 7 days, you have to do twice as much as you used to in the ghost town. The part must keep himself alive amid the pursuit of monsters appearing in the other nightmare. At the same time, you have to find a way out of this haunted hospital, and also have to find out who the mysterious girl who called you before is really, and why she wants to tell you the news. You discover she seems to be standing in the dark, watching you struggle desperately in your nightmares. Is she an enemy or a friend? Is there something more terrible than the hordes of demons that are manipulating everything here, including minds and dreams?

Gameplay

It can be seen that compared to part 1, Reporter 2 is much more complicated and dangerous. You have to be alone with a phone to deal with a lot of entities around: monsters, ghosts, nightmares, mysterious puzzles and an impossible mystery of a strange girl.

The feeling is not only fear and loneliness, but also extreme confusion, like being lost in the midst of all the waves.
