Storyline

Starting a journey of Dust & Neon, the game offers a short presentation. Accordingly, the dialogue details a scientist named Dr Finkel creating an army of cloned cowboys from a scrap of old body parts. Your task is to prevent their proliferation on four specific areas.

Gameplay

When the gun runs out of ammunition, it needs to be reloaded manually, you have to reload one by one. Each random weapon has different sized clamps. So some guns may need to reload continuously while others may fire a few more shots.

The most interesting is probably the boss fight mission. W. Elder is a prime example. An oligarch with a penchant for trapping players in a room with varying arrangements of moving lasers and spiked floors. You need to skillfully slip through them if you don’t want these lasers to cut into many pieces. Each boss battle in Dust & Neon unlocks more difficult versions for later encounters, which requires the player to also continuously improve in order to keep up with them.

A lot of familiar features will appear in Dust & Neon. Specifically, it includes permanent unlocking of weapons, base and character upgrades, and some expensive optional random tools that bring novel effects.
