Background

Captor Clash is set on another planet. At this time, humanity has found a way to travel to many planets, and discover advanced technologies from ancient civilizations in the galaxy. These technologies, unfortunately, were not used properly but were exploited to the fullest extent. The flip side of this is creating a series of world wars. Humans went to find another planet to escape war, but now because of greed, many new forms of war arise.

You are a hero who is responsible for fighting the evils of humanity, from exploited advanced weapons and alien monsters. But to do this, you will need strong allies, working together to fight betrayal and darkness everywhere.

Gameplay

Captor Clash sticks to the traditional action role-playing gameplay. But the big difference lies in the fact that you need to collect a squad of up to 3 hero members. You start with just one hero, slowly collecting more bonus points accumulated through battles with monsters and unlocking many new characters. When there are new characters, you will be able to switch heroes at will when encountering enemies that are too strong or not enough to control. Or you can also change the character when the character you are controlling is too badly injured to continue fighting.

Each hero character will have its own weapon and skill set. Properly making use of these special abilities, you will be able to deal well with many extremely powerful monsters.

Controls in Captor Clash are quite simple. On the left is the character navigation key cluster, and on the right are the attacks and skills.

One of the bright spots of the attack moves in Captor Clash is the combo combos. To have these combos, you press continuously on the normal hit button or combine the hit button with the character’s skill buttons. The advice is that you should test these combos to see where they are performed, thereby giving the most effective and fastest control ways when going to battle.

But having a combo is not enough. You must continuously attack the enemy so that they are completely stunned and lose their health quickly. Switching back and forth between characters also gives you more combo options, thereby diversifying your battle tactics.

To collect new characters you must have enough pieces. The number of pieces required will depend on the character’s rank. The way Captor Clash divides it is 10 pieces for a C rank character (including Crow and Selene Willow), 30 pieces to unlock a B rank character (Anika and Crow – Broadsword), and up to 60 pieces to unlock A-class characters (Beoblade and Hathor). Currently, the system is giving default 2 characters, Crow and Anika. Thus, there are a total of 6 characters that can be switched back and forth during the transition. If you collect enough pieces, there will be more new characters in the future.

Upgrade system

Every time you pass a level, you will receive money and materials to upgrade your hero. As usual in RPG games, in Captor Clash, you can also enhance your character by increasing skills and adding equipment.

To strengthen the character you will need to collect materials such as Hanno and Ancient Shard. You will get these 2 things, more or less depending on the achievements, after each pass. Captor Clash also has pet and mecha systems. As your character upgrades, the pet and mecha you have will also increase accordingly.

You can also speed up your character’s enhancement through a concept called God’s Blueprint. By collecting these heavenly items you will shorten the way to increase energy, and become stronger quickly for the whole team, not just a single character, ready to prepare for the journey ahead.
