Background

Area-Z takes place in a futuristic fantasy world in 2031. At this time, a strange virus is appearing. As an anti-zombie fighter, you will receive a lot of different tasks, along with survival and protection goals. Each mission takes place in a different location. In a building, vacant land, dark abandoned factory, residential area… Each place has different terrain and environment. Gameplay

On the vast New York City battlefields, every street is now filled with zombies. They roam around in pursuit of humans, either in groups or individually. Area-Z gameplay is based entirely on a top-down action shooter role-playing style. Thanks to that, you can easily observe everything, even the smallest moves like the sudden appearance of an enemy.

Pick up the gun, navigate accurately to pan the bullet, smash into the enemy. Take advantage of the surrounding environment to kill multiple enemies at once. Perform stealth methods, move boldly to open the blood, overcome tons of bloodthirsty zombies and find the best position on the battlefield… There are many things you need to do and must do to complete every difficult zombie killing mission assigned.

Area-Z divides into many attacks corresponding to different missions. Each level will have a certain number of zombies appear to surround you. All of them once on the screen will simultaneously dive to attack you from all directions. The simple task is to destroy all zombies to the last one to preserve life and perform the task.

But the zombie siege will be more and more. They appear from all directions with increasing numbers continuously through the levels. The deeper into the game, not only the number but also the sensitivity of zombies is higher. Initially, one bullet killed a zombie, but now you have to shoot many bullets to kill one. This means it will take you longer to pass the level. Shooting skills, moving must also be skillful every day to hope to complete the next task.

The main weapon is diverse and there are additional support guns

Corresponding to the difficulty of the game screen, the character’s weapons also need to be maximized to provide more wide-area combat capabilities, helping you to preserve your life and kill zombies quickly.

Area-Z offers different guns with their own versatility and damage capabilities. Each type of gun also uses different ammunition. When fighting through the levels, accumulating bonuses, you will unlock / buy more and more modern bullets and guns.

Not only holding a gun in one hand, the character can later have several types of support guns. This booster gun will be unlocked depending on the player’s level and you must use energy to use it. During tough moments, you can use energy to unlock support guns, placing them in an optional strategic location. When the enemy enters a certain range, this gun will automatically fire large-scale carnage. As for you, the more zombies you kill, the more energy bar increases, giving more power to the support gun.

Modes

Area-Z has 3 main game modes that players can choose according to their preferences: Survival, Defense and Mastering the Battlefield.

Playing in survival mode you have to find a way to survive, kill zombies to complete the assigned task. In Defense mode, you are assigned to the laboratory and some other areas of the survivors base. At all costs, you must guard against any zombies from entering. Mastering the Battlefield throws you into endless waves of zombies whose sole mission is to kill as many zombies as possible.
